At the Academy of Advanced Changework we provide high quality, no-snooze accredited hypnotherapy training in Sheffield, London and Birmingham. We provide a combined clinical and medical hypnotherapy course and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) course in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. We incorporate insights from an eclectic mixture of other therapies and approaches, especially NLP, and also EFT, coaching, psychotherapy and counselling. This is a very practical course with an emphasis on being able to do hypnotherapy. Groups are small, ensuring you have adequate individual attention.

Whether you intend to train to become a hypnotherapist, add hypnosis and NLP therapy to your existing skill set or attend for personal interest and development, you will find our hypnotherapy and NLP course enjoyable and enlightening. You don't need any prior knowledge or qualifications in healthcare, psychology, psychotherapy, etc. to function well as a hypnotherapist.

We offer four qualifications in one course: Diploma in Hypnotherapy, the externally accredited Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, Diploma in NLP and, uniquely in the UK, a Certificate in Discursive Empowerment.

The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma is written by the National Council for Hypnotherapy and is accredited and externally verified by NCFE, a Government recognised National Awarding Body.

We pride ourselves on high quality learning materials. We're a modern training school making good use of technology and doing our bit for the environment. For example, homework is completed in a single file that is passed back and forth between student and tutor for feedback, saving paper and providing fast feedback. You will also receive video learning materials so that you can view demonstrations of many hypnotherapy techniques at home. These learning materials support and extend training centre learning. You will effectively have a library of materials to support you long after qualification.
