One of the most difficult aspects of setting up a school, especially for people not skilled at writing, is writing a student manual. Paul Peace is a Chartered Psychologist and Karen Bartle is a graduate Psychologist and Health Psychologist in training. Both Paul and Karen have lectured at undergraduate level at Sheffield Hallam University and they train new hypnotherapists through an accredited course as well running a thriving therapy practice.

Entry requirements: We assess each application on individual merit. You will, however, need to demonstrate a sound hypnotherapy education and sufficient experience of client work. Teaching experience is not essential (teachers of all kinds start out with no experience).

Structure: distance learning, plus 2 days attendance and an optional third day of attendance if required.

The distance learning part is completed first to get the theory under your belt. This is completed via a hypnotherapy trainers training manual followed by homework questions to test your knowledge as derived from the manual. Feedback will be given and you may be asked to work up any weaker answers until they reach the required standard. There are no all-or-nothing pass or fail exams, etc. You just need to respond to any feedback.

You will then be invited to one of our hypnotherapy training centres in Sheffield, Birmingham or London for two consecutive attendance days, on a Sat and Sun. Attendance days will be negotiated. It is possible to attend an optional third day on the Monday if you think it would be useful at no extra cost.
